”Ding dong!”
Once again, the cardboard box stuffed with vegetables arrives from Sado Island.
Each time I am amazed at the rich smell of soil coming from these vegetables wrapped in old newspaper.
My mother-in-law’s back is bent double through toiling in her youth.
I wonder how hard it must be for her to pack these heavy vegetables?
She grows and sends these vegetables to her children from Sado Island all by herself.
I really appreciate her hard work and deep love.
How lucky we are to receive and eat these vegetables full of love.
